From Struggling Reader to Class Leader
How 8-year-old Amina transformed her education through the Juu Kids mobile learning program and became a peer tutor in her village.
The Journey
A Difficult Start
Amina struggled to read basic Swahili texts in her Grade 2 classroom. Her teachers worried she might drop out, like several children before her in the fishing village of Mwanza.

Discovering Juu Kids
When Juu Afrika introduced the Juu Kids mobile learning program, Amina's mother borrowed a community tablet. Animated stories and gamified literacy exercises made reading feel like play - not punishment.

Rising to Lead
Within six months, Amina moved from the bottom of her class to the top. She began helping classmates during lunch breaks, turning struggle into leadership and hope for her entire village.
