Safeguarding at JUU Afrika.
Every child we work with has the right to be safe, heard and protected. Safeguarding is part of every programme, not a separate activity.
JUUOur name carries an ethic of care: Jilinde (protect yourself), Ulinde (protect others) and Ulindwe (be protected).
What we expect
Staff, consultants, volunteers and partners must treat children with dignity, use positive discipline, and never use their role for harm, exploitation or abuse. Concerns are reported, recorded and followed up through community and institutional protection systems.
How to raise a concern
If you are worried about a child’s safety in connection with our work, contact us immediately at info@juuafrika.or.tz or +255 744 336 529. In an emergency, contact local protection authorities first.
